Over the years, WNDX has remained committed to their original values, now acting as a key event for the local film community to network with other filmmakers.

This was the case for local director and filmmaker Ian Bawa, whose short film Strong Son, which was created for WNDX’s One Take Super 8 Event, boosted his career after being accepted into the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
